She also captures images of families, portrait and pets, and new for 2011 are Maternity and Rock the Frock photo shoots.
As an experienced landscape and portrait photographer, Rosie spends many happy hours travelling around Skye searching for the best locations for great images and the best places to duck into for a coffee should the weather do its worst!
And as a parent to 2 little people of her own Rosie finds that being in the big outdoors or relaxed at home leads to easy smiles and happy images when taking family photographs.
The couple in this shoot are Luke and Susan. Rosie tells us how she met them.
"I first met this glorious couple when Luke interviewed me to be his boss 9 years ago.
I'm a bit unusual, unconventional and lot of fun just like Luke and Susan."
"Roll forward from the interview to slightly boozy lunches and after work drinks..Luke and I soon became friends, and I was entranced with his fiery red/pink/auburn haired fiancée Susan who constantly cracked one liners in her beautiful, stong Cork accent."
"A bit further forward, and now we have 3 children, and so do Luke and Susan, and on the too rare and very happy occasions when we all get together the children form into one big noisy mass and we adults sit back and sip some wine.."
"Luke and Susan married on Valentine’s day 6 years ago..
At the time, like so many couples, there was no money in the budget for a wedding photographer, and although they loved the images from family and friends they jumped at the chance to Rock their Frock and Kilt one more time to mark their anniversary."
"The shoot took place on a very sunny but, frankly, freezing Ashaig Beach on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Luckily Susan is a regular model and is used to performing for artists and looking beautiful, elegant and poised when in fact her toes are dropping off due to the cold."
"Our overall concept for the shoot was slightly shabby the morning after the night before....as if the Bride and Groom had arrived at the beach still tipsy on champagne and high on each other after dancing till dawn at their wedding party..I think they carried it off really well."
Thanks so much to Rosie for sharing this incredibly fun, earthy and warm shoot. You can see that the couple are still crazy about each other and up for some seaside antics.
Outstanding images in a beautiful location.
