The Wedding of Emma and Rob - Images by Liezl Croft

Today I am thrlled to share the gorgeous Wedding of Emma and Rob, captured so beautifully by the lens of Liezl Croft.

Liezl is an accomplished wedding and lifestyle photographer with a flair for creating natural, fun images that capture the excitement, spirit and glamour of a wedding day.
She shares her recollections of the couple and their fabulous Big Day."

"I met Emma and Rob at the Danesfield House Hotel Wedding Fair and they booked me shortly after the Fair for their wedding in October 2010.We did their Pre-Wedding Shoot at Cliveden in the summer, and Emma especially found this shoot very useful as we got rid of most of the nerves of being in front of the camera."

"On to the wedding day, Emma and the girls got ready at the Complete Angler Hotel in Marlow.
They had a couple of bottles of bubbly, and some yummy snacks to tide them over while their hair and makeup were being done."

"Emma chose a fabulous Benjamin Roberts dress, and a pair of very impressive shoes."

"It was a beautiful day with bright blue skies, but unfortunately the weather man had warned us that there was a rather large rain cloud coming our way in the early afternoon."

"Emma travelled to the church in their gorgeous car while the rest of the girls were travelling to the church in taxis.
Unfortunately this is where the hiccups started."

"The taxi company mistook the time for pick-up for PM rather than AM and then had to be phoned up when they didn't show.
This delayed the start of the ceremony by over an hour, but it made up for the fact that some of the guests had gotten lost on their way to the church, but still being there before the bride."

"The church was The Parish Church of St John the Baptist in Little Missenden and it is most definitely the best little church I've ever been to."

"The church is very very old (established in the year 975) and it is well worth a visit to see everything from Roman bricks, Norman arches, Saxon windows to 800 year old wall paintings. Truly lovely!"

"After the ceremony we made the most of the good weather to capture the majority of the wedding party photos before all setting off back to the Complete Angler."

"The bride and groom arrived on a boat to the Hotel, complete with more bubbly and some luxurious bite size snacks."

"After a quick chat with the duty manager, we agreed a new timeline [ due to the delay] and we made sure that we made up some time during the photographs."

"All the guests were in very high spirits, and you could see they were having a fantastic day which not even the heavy drizzling rain could dampen by this time."

"I had set-up a large signature board in the bar area for all the guests to sign with messages of congratulations and well wishes, and this turned out to be a huge hit with all the guests.
Mounted in the frame were 3 of Emma and Rob's favourite images from their Pre-Wedding Shoot."

"The food and service at the venue was really good, and after the meal and the speeches everybody went to the bar while the DJ was setting up for the evening's entertainment."

"After the tea and coffee were consumed everybody went back into the room to get ready for the first dance and to boogie the night away."

"So after getting a few nice shots of the party going on I called it a night and bid a fond farewell to this fabulous couple that was now Mr & Mrs Hatton."

Thank you so much to Leizl for sharing her fabulous images. You can feel the energy from this emotion filled day, paked to the brim with stunning little details.
