If you were anything to do about Weddings in Scotland, and a bit of a Twitterholic like me, you attended the Big Fat Scottish Tweet Up last Wednesday night at the stunning city centre venue "29"
This event, hosted by myself, Plans and Presents and in collaboration with "29", Wedding Ideas Magazine, and The Scottish Wedding Directory was an incredible opportunity for scintillating chat, unrivalled networking, sparkling entertainment and lots of fabulous refreshments, and all manners of yumminess.
It was also a chance to put some faces to twitter names, and meet some new friends in the wedding industry and also a great opportunity to raise some money and show appreciation for the wonderful charities C.H.A.S and the Paul O' Gorman Leukaemia Centre at the Beatson Hospital, Glasgow.
For each attendee there was also a fantastic Goody Bag, filled with incredible treats by some outstanding suppliers.

She is only 11 years old but is INCREDIBLE.

I would like to say an enormous Thank You to everyone that contributed both to the Event itself and to the Goody Bags, and also the donation of Raffle Prizes. [seperate Blog Post will share all contributors]
I would also like to thank Laura Boyd [@STVLaura] on Behalf of the Leukaemia Centre, and Grace Wilson of C.H.A.S for coming along and speaking about their charities prior to our Raffle.
We raised £460.00 on the night so £230.00 to each Charity.
It was a wonderful night and it did what I hoped it would in that people made new friends and interesting and helpful connections and I can't wait for the next Event.

OH MY WORD!!!!! ERm - well...erm - THATS a hilarious pic of my with the magicians rope - not sure how else to put that! Thank you for such a fun evening Alison, fantastic meeting all my online friends at long last - I'm blown away by Rianne Downey's amazing voice - been listening to her you tube link again and again - makes your spine tingle - she is certainly a super star in the making!
